| "Many Paths - One Destination"
Original acrylic on canvas: 36" x 48"
Symbolism: Moon,
emotions reflected on the water creates "flow" - the movement of energy
into physical expression - forming drama and individualization. The
geese - migrating in a flock to a common destination, alternate
leadership and each member fully participating. The Waterfall - the
origin of life emerging from the same essence - flowing to form
individual paths - but ultimately ending in the same body of water.
Humans are the only species that have "Identities" and seek the answer
to the ultimate expression - "who am I" - "Why am I here" - "What is my
purpose." The squirrel sitting on the branch overlooking the water - yet
casting no reflection - doesn't look for individual expression - all
squirrels are similar in nature - they're simply squirrels - they don't
have the ability or desire to self-create, or self-express. All paths
lead to the same destination - Earth's reflection - like our own
reflection, our internal experience of who we are becomes our reality.
The leaves swirling and dancing on the water - our paths, like leaves in
a current, flowing effortlessly, changing with the seasons - no need to
direct or control the experience, simply the joy of trusting and
engaging fully in the current of divine will that forms our path and
expresses our destiny. The rainbow connecting Heaven and Earth - compels
us forward through the promise of hope and the gift of will. Every
choice forms a new path of expression and establishes a physical reality
around it. |
