Invention presupposes imagination but
should not be confused with it. For the act of invention implies the
necessity of a lucky find and of achieving full realization of this
find. What we imagine does not necessarily take a concrete form
and may remain in a state of virtuality, whereas invention is not
conceivable apart from its actually being worked out.
Thus, what concerns us here is not
imagination itself, but rather creative imagination; the faculty that
helps us pass from the level of conception to the level of realization.

Creative Thinking - Imagining Reality
Artistic Creativity – “Crafting Imaginary Worlds”
Creativity is
inspired by feeling as a “full body” sensation that’s sensuous in nature
simultaneously birthing thoughts as images that elicit an emotional
response that forms the motive for the action necessary to create it.
Feeling arouses the imagination with emotional images that move us as
intimate and immediate experience. If we surrender our conscious mind to
it, it rushes into us consuming us with an emotional experience of it
that arouses feelings of wonder, awe, and fascination as it joyfully
unfolds in our imagination with an erotic quality. Truth is beauty that
is only known through union and shared identity. The entire process
happens within us, as us, and so we identify with it which allows it to
fashion us by expanding into it and becoming it.
Artistic
inspiration is a full-body phenomenon that is sensuous and erotic in
nature, and so it arouses the imagination to joyfully receive it while
it begins joyously enfolding and unfolding like lovers entwined,
passionate and feverish with desire. The union of idea and emotion like
an erotic play of a casual greeting that fills the heart with pleasure
and a deep sense of longing, reverence, and devotion. Inspiration and
awe as naturally encountered through the “stage of exploration and
discovery” is entirely sensual and flowing with a very pleasurable
emotional quality that seduces the mind with curiosity.
The experience
isn’t born out of thoughts, words, or images at first, it’s a feeling in
the body that instantly awakens the senses with an erotic rush that
feels like mild gooseflesh flashing up your legs, swirling and rushing
across your skin on various parts of your body arousing it with flooding
waves of pleasurable sensations. A recognition that’s stunning. It
stimulates an emotional response which floods your body with a warm
buzzy feeling that feels electric, yet subtle and softly radiating that
sexually arouses you with a heightened awareness as an immediate sense
of absolute presence. The outside world disappears, you feel a magnetic
sensation like an intimate bond that’s hypnotic and consuming with a
desire that fills your imagination as it ignites a chain-of-association
that unfolds into a complete, organic idea, and you feel elated with a
sense of wonder and awe that feels fascinating and invigorating. Your
body is vibrating with pure pleasure that has an encoded idea as a
creative seed whose only desire is to grow. Motivated only by the deep
yearning to become! The sperm racing to the egg inspired solely by the
exhilarating chance to “be!” To know itself in living form!
You surrender to
the moment, allowing it to have its way with you, creating space within
you for it to unfold and entertain you with the sheer delight of its
beauty and eloquence. Then you begin to see its deepest secrets as
profound knowledge that’s being revealed to you in exquisite terms,
seducing your senses with the promise of more. Your loving gaze gives it
life. The emotions of desire calling it forth as you marvel at the
wonder of it, magic in its most magical sense. A fantasy comes alive.
Concentrating with
full-body presence, you take in as much as you can, studying its every
detail while crystallizing it in your imagination so that you can recall
it at will. It responds to your beckoning call with a flirtatious
attitude that teases as it pleases. Consumed with a desire for it, you
excitedly rush to capture it by interpreting it to make it your own
through writing it down in poetic terms, drawing your thoughts as
images, formulating its pattern that creates an equation as a way of
initially grasping it. The more you merge into it, becoming it, the
more the vagueness becomes crisp and precise, vivid with attributes
understood only through emotion. The emotional quality becomes the
nature of the expression as a poetic conversion of the feeling that
spawned the whole process. The end creation gives the viewer or listener
the same emotional feeling that inspired its creation. This is true
expression. The inspired creation becomes an archetypal pattern as a
process that can be recalled and re-imagined at will. Once we have
fully recreated an idea personalizing it, making it our own, it becomes
imprinted as a memory that becomes a permanent part of our psyche that
can be referenced, associated and used as a creative template for future
inspirations. A dynamic pattern that ads to our library of
possibilities.

is different from communication. Communication is the means through
which we transfer information, Self expression differs in that it
involves not only sharing one's emotional reality, but encouraging
others to do the same. The true fulfillment of expression
comes through emotions.
Emotional
Self-Expression - is sharing authentic feelings honestly and
directly while encouraging and stimulating others to do the same through
interaction. Expressing our true feelings releases emotional
energy that might otherwise become frustrating.
