Vision & Envisioning: "Creating your
Personal Ideal as your Pattern of Excellence"
In order to create anything, we need
to first start with a vision. A full sensory idea of what it is we are
creating. This is the number one mistake people make in all
self-development. Most approach self-development as a form of therapy
to heal their faults and vices, instead of developing their higher
faculties. They fail to develop an ideal of themselves based on their
latent potential, Soul's capacity for expression, and as a clear vision
of themselves in terms of their purpose, path and destiny. When we
intentionally choose to cultivate our virtues and talents to
self-actualize as our highest possible expression in this life-time, we
find deep fulfillment and a sense of inner peace as a kind of
contentment.
So start your transformative process
by creating an idea of yourself exactly as you desire to be. Create an
image of yourself that inspires you to aspire towards it. That
naturally causes you to have to stretch yourself beyond your comfort
zone or current level of development in order to grow into it. Then
embrace your creative ability to actualize it through a practical
process of self-actualization.
Nothing is more rewarding in life,
than feeling at your best while embodying your true power to be
self-disciplined and self-determined and creative in the most beneficial
way possible. This is the basis of all higher forms of spiritual
development undertaken as a form of Initiation. Self-perfection as a
purification of your weaknesses and shortcomings by contemplating them,
forming realizations around them that will allow you to transform them
into positive traits. At the same time cultivate your talents and best
traits to their highest possible expression within your current life
circumstances. Awaken latent potential that has not been realized up to
this point in your development, and act to consciously develop it
yourself. When we take an attitude of developing ourselves to our
highest expression, the sky is the limit. Anything is possible and
within arms reach.
